Registration: All of the goats on our farm are registered with the Myotonic Goat Registry. If kids are purchased before registrations can be done, buyer will receive a registration form completed with the Bureau Creek name. Any animal sold as "commercial" will be sold without any type of registration information.Buyers who are not already members of the Myotonic Goat Registry will also receive a breeder's packet with information on getting started with the MGR. Older breeding or show age goats will be sold with registration papers and buyer will receive transfer paperwork that they are responsible for sending in. Sales Terms and Conditions: A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to hold any goat. This deposit is accepted in the form of cash, personal check, cashier's check, PayPal, Venmo or money order. Buyer will receive a receipt of this deposit and it will be shown on the final bill of sale. The remaining payment must be in the form of cash , PayPal or Venmo and must be received at the time of pick up. A pick up date must be set when deposit is received. If goat is not picked up in the time allotted, the goat will be re-listed for sale. All goats purchased will come with a bill of sale. Transportation: It is the responsibility of the buyer to arrange transport of any goat purchased from our farm. We prefer that goats are picked up at our farm by the buyer, so that we can meet and get to you know. There may be certain situations where we can transport, but this must be pre-arranged and extra costs are at the buyer's expense beyond the cost of the goat. We ask that, if hiring transportation, they be reputable and safe. Herd Health: Our goats are dewormed on an as needed basis, and this determination is made by fecal test. All goat's feet are trimmed every 6 weeks or more as needed, and feet will be checked and trimmed if needed at the time of pick up. All goats 1 year and older are tested annually for CAE, CL and Johnes. Buyers will receive a copy of our herd records for testing year that the goat that they are purchasing is bought in. Any additional testing requested will be done at the expense of the buyer. All goats purchased from us are guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale. If any goat develops health issues and a refund is requested, a health inspection by our veterinarian is required, with the cost of this incurred by the party requesting the refund. A refund will only be given if our veterinarian determines the health issues were genetic or contracted while the goat was on our farm. Health issues determined to be related to improper care or contracted by other animals after leaving Bureau Creek Myos will not deem a refund. We do our best to provide a safe, healthy and happy environment for our goats and we ask that buyers do the same. For this reason, we reserve the right to refuse a sale if we feel that these criteria are not going to be met. Bucks - start at $700 Does - start at $600 Wethers - $250 and up
